Who’s hosting, who’s performing, who’s presenting, who’s nominated, and who’s getting special awards? Well, you’ll have to keep scrolling for that!

The CMT Music Awards are country music’s only entirely fan-voted award show. Each winner is selected by the fans, and voting is open now at vote.cmt.com. Performances will take place across Tennessee.

Who are the hosts?

Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown have been tapped to host this year’s CMT Music Awards. This will be Kelsea’s first time hosting, but Kane returns to host the show for his second consecutive year.

Kelsea Ballerini emphasizes how badly we need a show like this right now: “Following a year plus where we have not been able to be with the fans and share music together, will make this night even more special.” Kane Brown adds why the CMT Awards are so special to him: “It’s the first industry award I won and getting on that stage was an amazing feeling. I love that the fans get to have their voices heard as we celebrate the best in country music.”

Who is nominated?

Nominations were unveiled on May 13, and Maren Morris and Miranda Lambert tied for the most nominated artists with 4 noms each. Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, and Mickey Guyton weren’t far behind, though, each earning 3 nominations of their own. Read the full list of nominees at vote.cmt.com.

There were an impressive 13 artists who earned their very first nominations at the CMT Music Awards ever this year: Mickey Guyton, Dylan Scott, Hailey Whitters, HARDY, Lainey Wilson, Margo Price, Nathaniel Rateliff, Niko Moon, Noah Cyrus, Parmalee, Ryan Hurd, Tyler Hubbard and Willie Jones.

Known for embracing collaborations that stretch well beyond the country genre, Elle King, Halsey, John Legend, Nathaniel Rateliff, Noah Cyrus and P!nk all received nominations this year.
