I’m going to go ahead and call it, but this is about to be the next big teen / young adult hit show sensation of the summer. There’s something for everyone to love here.
“Heartstopper” is officially streaming on Netflix worldwide, and I suspect this will be a big hit for many different audiences. The way it captures a Gen Z’s Spotify playlist without sounding like a collection of viral TikTok hits was done so tastefully, and the songs were perfectly aligned with the tone of each scene.
I didn’t think this show could get any more existential, but it managed to out-do last season somehow.
With the modern-day struggles our “Bel-Air” characters face also comes a modern-day soundtrack with artists from Philly to Cali.
It’s a fascinating story, and the series features a surprisingly rap-heavy soundtrack that sounds like it wouldn’t work, but every song fits so well within the context of the show!
“Marry Me” starring Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Maluma, John Bradley, Chloe Coleman, Sarah Silverman, and Michelle Buteau is finally streaming on Peacock and now playing in theaters.
With the movie comes a stellar soundtrack from stars Jennifer Lopez and Maluma, as well as the likes of Sigala, Ella Eyre, Meghan Trainor, French Montana, Galantis, MAX, and more!
‘I Want You Back’ is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, and the rom-com is exactly what you need just in time for Valentine’s Day (and even after the holiday if you need a quick pick-me-up). Along with an exceptional cast, the movie features some really great music!
Kimi is now streaming on HBO Max, and Steven Soderbergh’s latest film boasts an interesting soundtrack. The music and score for the movie is actually pretty minimal, but there are some astounding musical moments going on here.
Please do NOT let Prime Video’s new series “Reacher” fly under your radar. It’s a show so intense and addictive that it’ll have you hooked before you know it. There is twist after twist in this crime drama, and they just keep coming.
Hulu’s “Pam & Tommy” is the show that everyone is going to be talking about for the next few weeks, and rightfully so.
