Super Soundtrack: “YOU” on Netflix [Season 3]

YOU is back with another season on Netflix, and it’s more bats**t than ever. It starts out like a sweet suburban household drama, and you’ll be like, “Is this the same show?” But just as soon as you settle into suburbia, it quickly morphs into something entirely different.

Review: ‘The Last Duel’ (dir. Ridley Scott)

I’ll be honest, on paper, this sounds like a hard sell. A period piece set in France during the 1300s with kings and knights and lords and ladies and battle sequences and armor… but it works. It legitimately works.

Interview: Bren Joy Talks About Upcoming Tour Opening for Pink Sweat$ + Leaning into “What Feels Right” on New Music

Bren Joy has such a unique voice, and his artistry has no bounds. Genre is no limitation for him as he combines R&B, pop, and everything in between. It only makes sense, really, that he would be so good at making music when you consider that he grew up in Nashville. There is no denying his stylistic and vocal range. Combine that with his diversity in playing instruments and sharp songwriting skills, and he’s definitely one to watch.

Super Soundtrack: “BMF” on STARZ

With a show set in Detroit, an influential city in rap history, as well as a few musically-involved actor-rappers, the soundtrack of “BMF” reflects that in its variety of music. Let’s dive into the soundtrack…

Super Soundtrack: “Midnight Mass” on Netflix

It grapples with the idea of humanity and brings up conversations on religion, faith, society, and small town culture in such profound ways. Some of the best monologues I’ve ever seen are in this series. It’s thrilling, and it’s horror, but it takes a methodical, psychological approach that is unlike anything I’ve seen in a long time.

Super Soundtrack: ‘There’s Someone Inside Your House’ on Netflix

This horror flick tackles cancel culture and white privilege while touching on the dangers of social media and high school drama. At times, it feels like it’s leaning a little into a ~woke~ teen thriller category, and it doesn’t work as well as other times. But all in all, it’s a gory story that refuses to let you go once it starts.
